Terms of Use
Last updated: June 20, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Shadowing ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
Shadowing is provided as a learning and practice tool for listening, speaking, and reviewing lesson materials. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the operation of the app or the experience of other users.
Content
The app may provide access to audio files, PDF files, lesson titles, and related learning materials. The content is provided for personal learning use only. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, publicly display, or otherwise exploit app content unless you have the legal right to do so.
Playlists and Downloads
The app may allow you to download lesson files, create playlists, repeat audio, use split-time playback, and continue audio playback in the background. Downloaded files and playback settings are intended for your personal use within the app.
Advertising and Remove Ads Purchase
Shadowing may display banner ads and full-screen ads. The app may offer a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. If a purchase is available and completed successfully, ads will be disabled according to the app's purchase logic.
Restore Purchase
If you reinstall the app or use another device with the same Apple ID, you may use the restore purchase option where available. Restore behavior depends on Apple's App Store purchase systems and the purchase status associated with your Apple ID.
No Warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available, or that lesson content will always be accessible from hosting providers.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services such as advertising networks, analytics, crash reporting, content hosting/CDN providers, and Apple's App Store services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Shadowing after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
