Shadowing is designed for listening practice and viewing lesson PDF files. We do not require you to create an account and we do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or email address unless you choose to contact us directly.

App Usage Data

The app may store basic information locally on your device, such as downloaded audio files, downloaded PDF files, playlist selections, playback state, split-time settings, and purchase status. This information is used only to make the app work correctly and improve your learning experience.

Audio and PDF Content

Shadowing downloads audio and PDF lesson content from public hosting/CDN URLs. Requests to those files may be processed by the hosting provider or CDN as part of normal file delivery, including standard technical logs such as IP address, user agent, request time, and requested file path.

Advertising

Shadowing may show banner ads and full-screen ads. Advertising services may collect and use device identifiers, approximate location, app activity, and other data according to their own privacy policies in order to provide, measure, and improve ads.

In-App Purchases

Shadowing offers an in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. The app may store purchase status locally and may use Apple purchase APIs to restore purchases.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

The app may use analytics or crash reporting services to help us understand app performance, diagnose issues, and improve stability. These services may receive technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and diagnostic data.

Children's Privacy

Shadowing is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Data Retention

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Messages you send to us by email may be retained as needed to respond to your request and maintain support records.

• You can delete downloaded content by removing the app or clearing app data where available.
• You can purchase the remove-ads option to disable ads inside the app.
• You can manage Apple purchase and subscription settings through your Apple ID settings.
